I came in this morning dreading what needed to be done. I was scheduled for 2 root canals (bad word) and was waiting for my morning of pain. I even dreamt about it the night before.

The assistant met me at the front and took me back to my room. She offered me a paraffin wax hand treatment right from the start. I thought I had walked into the wrong door! Then a soothing herbal eye mask, it was a mini spa experience in the dentist chair. Something I wasn’t expecting at all.

Dr. Opp came in and he visited with me and answered all my questions and eased my concerns with what was going to happen. He told me of his experience when he was in the chair not too long ago. Knowing that he was sympathetic to what was going on I knew I was in good hands.

Unfortunately, I’ve had my share of “chair” time, but honestly this has been one of the best experiences I’ve had (if you can say that). The pain was minimal!! Nothing to what I expected.

Dr. Opp has a wonderful assistant, smiling, helpful and friendly. Also his staff at the front desk were kind and understood too. He has a great facility with state of the art services and an irreplaceable team working with him! He will definitely get my referrals for all my friends and family. Thanks and God Bless.

My name is Linda Urlacher and I live in Aberdeen South Dakota. We have been using Dr. Opp for at least 20 years. All of our 5 children have used him, exclusively him, as their dentist and even when they come home from college they try to fit in an appointment. We have been very happy with him.

My overall feeling of Dr. Opp is he’s a very honest dentist. He will tell you if he thinks something is miss-theory or not. I really appreciate that fact. He, I feel, doesn’t do things just because he wants to do it. He really discusses it whenever the children went there he explained what he was going to do. He put it in everyday language. His staff is very friendly and his equipment is very up to date. I just appreciate going to him because I know that he will do what is best for me.

Our son who didn’t like to go see any doctor or dentist he was very reluctant to go and when we got there the receptionist said “we”ll take good care of him.” So when the assistant came for him I said “should I go back with you?” he said “no mom you don’t have to come with me.” So when he came out he was all smiles and I said to him, “how did it go?” and he said “nonthing to it mom you don’t have to worry.” I just knew then that we were always going to be in good hands. Speaking of emergencies one of my youngest daughters had chipped her front tooth, really chipped her front tooth, I believe its 7 or 8 times now. We have had to call Dr. Opp on a Sunday evening and he would get us in right away the next morning.

I would recommend Dr. Opp because I think he’s very good with children and adults. He takes the time to know what you feelings are and he’s very friendly to you and makes you feel at ease. I would strongly recommend him for his professionalism and for his chairside manners.
