Restorative Dentistry
Years of smoking, tooth grinding, and poor dental hygeine can really take a toll on your teeth. Let Dr. Opp restore your smile to its former radiance with a variety of simple, effective treatments. Crowns & Bridges
We are able to permanently restore damaged or decayed teeth with crowns and, in the case of missing teeth, bridges. These restorations are cemented onto the teeth and are referred to as "fixed" dentistry (as opposed to a removable appliance or partial denture). CrownsA crown is a synthetic cap for a tooth which restores its original form and function following a procedure such as a root canal. We proudly use BruxZir crowns, which are made of a virtually indestructible material and blend naturally with the color of your teeth. All crowns are backed by our 60-month warranty. BridgesBridges, often called "fixed partial dentures", are custom-made, permanent appliances which bridge any gaps in your smile caused by missing teeth. They restore not only the contour of your smile but the integrity of your bite as well.
Dentures
All of our dentures (full and partial) are custom-made from a lightweight, synthetic material that mimics the look and feel of real teeth while providing maximum comfort. DenturesDentures can restore a natural-looking beauty to your smile, and help restore your self-confidence as well. Let our professional team create a custom set of removable dentures that are comfortable, perfectly fit, and identical to your real teeth—or better! Partials"Partials" are a removable partial denture consisting of a cast-metal framework with a resin base. Partials not only bridge the gaps in your smile—they help protect your remaining teeth, too!
Fillings
Dr. Opp is proud to offer you fillings that look white and natural, and which can actually strengthen your teeth. Utilizing these modern restorations can dramatically decrease tooth cracking and any future need for a root canal. For years, a silver/mercury amalgam was the standard filling material used in dental practices, and many practices still use it. While these metals can provide a reasonable restoration, they simply do not look as good as white fillings, and may in fact cause tooth fractures. We also wish to avoid any problems related to the use of mercury. You can be certain you're getting great work from us as all of our fillings are under a 24-month warranty.
